In the outskirts of Paris, the restoration of an old boilermaking factory, turned into a painter’s studio, before becoming a family home and working space.

Issue A large empty volume 23 feet high under ridge, an industrial environment to be adapted into a living and working space for a family with 4 children. The need to create new living areas, a studio, and 5 bedrooms, while keeping an industrial side to the place.

Proposal Elaborating on perspective, especially that opening on the garden, working on the interactions between the private and the public spaces through views and intertwined volumes. In this industrial environment, choosing materials with a subtle mix of past revived.
